via Miami Herald:
The big priority in the Heat offseason is to add a star player who can pull off Jimmy Butler some scoring.
But what if heat added two?
There is a way for the Heat to get both Damian Lillard from Portland and Bradley Bell from Washington, but it will require the collaboration of the Trail Blazers and Wizards, as well as the two superstars on their way to Miami.
Lillard did not ask for a trade but said the Heat would tip him if he asked. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said this week that it looks like Portland will keep Lillard and that nothing is creeping up on the trade front. But Lillard left open the possibility of asking for a trade if the Blazers don’t build their roster into a competitor.
