Does anyone have a more fun workout than Sean Strickland? The UFC middleweight has a fight over a fan who invited her to train after meeting him outside. What followed was hilarious and a lesson for those who truly believe they can sidestep a professional MMA fighter with little to no training.
Johnny went a little harder than he should have against one of the tougher runs, but hey there! Good sport.
Then Strickland went ahead and took on professional fighters, perhaps even more challengingly as a middleweight. Fellow UFC middleweights Chris Curtis and PFL’s Zach Gosola gave him a bit of a challenge.
We need more Stricklands in MMA. Makes sports more fun.
Strickland (26-5) is set to headline UFC Vegas 76 this weekend against Abus Magomedov. He had a 6-win streak by Alex Pereira last July, then dropped a split decision against Jared Cannonier in December, but beat Nusauruddin Imamov in a very late main event. Imamov was originally scheduled to face Kelvin Gastelum who went down with an injury.
