Sergey Pavlovich demolishes Tai Toivasa with a brutal KO victory

Sergey Pavlovich’s run through the heavyweight division was about as intimidating as they come.

After being knocked down for the first time against Alistair Overeem in 2018, Pavlovich (17-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) has hit five consecutive first-round finishes, wiping out all his opponents in devastating fashion.

The last victim in this race was the number one contender, Tai Toivasa. The two fought last December, with Pavlovic only needing 54 seconds to serve and earn the $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

You can watch Pavlovich’s sinister finish in the video above.

Pavlovich returns to the cage on Saturday when he faces number one contender Curtis Blades in the main event of UFC Fight Night 222. The card takes place at UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The card is streaming on ESPN+.
