Chase DeMoor snuck into “Big Easy”.
The hulking soccer player and part-time reality TV personality is down to 0-2 in his boxing career after being disqualified at last weekend’s Misfits Series 6 event in New Orleans. But his blistering night of fighting was just beginning, thanks to an altercation with former UFC welterweight Nate Diaz.
Something about Diaz and his water bottles just makes for a moody combination.
“This message is for Nate Diaz and all of his children,” D’Amore said on Twitter. “You see, you guys finally got me some damage. I didn’t take any damage in any of my boxing matches and you had to jump me in New Orleans. All of you guys are in the UFC and MMA fighters and I had to fight your whole team. You and your crew are the softest boys. All of those The kids on your team, I don’t know how they are in the UFC or how they have any kind of winning record, you guys have pillows for hands, soft toilet paper for hands.”
But they do have levers for weapons (just ask Logan Paul cosplayer).
Diaz is no stranger to street brawls, having recently punched boy Dillon Danes in combat sports outside a UFC event in New York City. In addition, Diaz is never without his entourage of various goons who remain true to the old adage “monkey sees, monkey does”. That might explain why water (again) flew into Misfits Irons early last week, sending poor Schleep to the hospital.
“You guys are a bunch of wet wipes and I can’t wait to watch Jake Paul not greet you in August, whenever you guys fight, because I’ll be there and I’ll be there to deal with all the jerks too in case you get out of line,” D’Amore continued. “Nate, if you’re watching this, get yourself locked in a cage with me for five minutes, I promise I’ll show you what that 40-pound difference looks like. You’re soft. Jake, handle my light work.”
Fortunately, no beer was spilled in the attack.
Diaz, 38, will continue his career after the UFC as a professional boxer, making his in-ring debut against social media star Jake Paul. They have a history (and I use that term loosely) after Diaz booed one of the Nelk giants over something not important enough to focus on mentioning. The “Beautiful Flag” scene is scheduled to premiere at the Showtime pay-per-view (PPV) on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas (details here).
Unless DeMoor and his group of disruptors get the number one spot.
