Is Ryan Anderson moving on soon?
Heading into the end of the season, all the momentum was in the Houston Rockets to turn their team into a super team. But, they had to slow their turn due to the limited cover space in their arsenal. The Rockets’ biggest crutch of the hat is veteran Ryan Anderson.
But, according to USA Today Sports’ Sam Amick – the Rockets are still looking for active business partners for the veteran pitcher.
Now… a potential Rockets deal that sends Ryan Anderson to Miami for James Johnson or Tyler Johnson, or whoever else the Houston brass think could help? This is definitely something they are interested in (no specific position targeted). But Bazemore is not part of their discussions.

In this scenario, the Rockets can back up shooting Anderson by adding Tyler Johnson and bolster the defense they lost by adding James Johnson. To add, the Rockets may need to receive Dion Waiters in a potential salary-matching deal with the Heat – who also lacks ceiling space.
Anderson became a liability on the court against the Warriors, both offensively and defensively after failing to get into a groove. Despite earning more than $20 million from the Rockets last season, Anderson averaged just 9.3 points per game on the season while shooting 43% from the field.
