Sweden vs. Switzerland
Thursday in Gothenburg, Sweden. Rasmus Sandin He got the key assist on Sweden’s first goal. Sandin was on the second defensive double. They beat Switzerland 3-0 in the first of three games played by Trey Kroner.

Newly signed Defender Hardy Hamann Actel It was on the defensive fourth (extra) pair.
Defenseman Tobias Geyserforward Damien Wright, whose rights are still held by the Capitals, both played for Switzerland. Reyat played left wing in the fourth line while Geser played in the second pairing.
The tournament then moved to the Czech Republic for a block of matches over the weekend, with Sweden facing the Czech Republic and Finland on the weekend of May 6-7.
Sweden vs. Czech Republic
On Saturday, the Czech Republic beat Sweden 4-2. Rasmus Sandin He remained in the second pairing during Hardy Hamann Actel Go from the fourth/additional pair to the third pair.
Sweden lost 4–3, with Rasmus Sandin being the co-assistant on Sweden’s second goal of the match and the main assistant on the third score. Sandin (#38) had a turnover that led directly to a Czech goal and was -1 in the game.

Sweden vs. Finland
In Sunday’s tournament final, Sweden beat Finland 4-3. Rasmus Sanden rose to best double against Finland while Hardy Harman Aktel remained in the third double for Sweden.
Sandin was -1 and no shots in 23:57 total time on the ice while Aktell was +1 in three shots in 13:25 total time on the ice. None of the players scored points.
Team Sweden will open the 2023 IIHF World Championship on Friday, May 12 against Germany in Tampere, Finland. [Schedule here]
