“Absorb”.
Yes, he kinda did. Since Julien Brun said it himself, that gives us some license to go ahead and confirm it.
Hopes were high for the 31-year-old Frenchman on Saturday at the DP World Open tennis tournament. He had opened with an even-par 71 during the first round at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, home of this year’s Ryder Cup, then followed it up with a 70, and Brun had pole times for the weekend. He even posted some encouraging words in an Instagram post: “Blue vibes in Italy. Let’s get to the top of the board this weekend! ”
(Hold on to the Instagram thought for just a second.)
But then Saturday came. And things started out disastrously. And they didn’t stop. Former Texas star Christian stunned 1., 4., 6, and 7. Courage doubled 11., 12, and 14. He sank the 15th and 17. In fact, Bronn birdied three holes, but the bad far outweighed the good, and he signed on. 12 years old over 83.

We know all these details because Bron said it himself.
Back to his Instagram.
On Saturday, he posted this story (w Shared by DP World Tour On their social feeds):
“83 today! Absorb! [Laughing emoji.]
“2 penalties for bringing the ball up the fairway… He did it twice in the first 6 holes. [Laughing emoji.] Lost 4 balls (3 holes in a row… [Shrug emoji.])
“3 pitches are lost within 5 feet
“But I had a great laugh there and I’m really looking forward to 7:10 a.m. game time tomorrow to play some good golf tomorrow!
“Enjoy golf! [Laughing emoji.]”
actually.
Yes, that’s great. After his message, you could say he probably just won the weekend – after 83. Don’t take yourself too seriously. There is a disposal of the bad. There is a bounce.
Which he did.
On Sunday, Bronn is back at it. It was eight strokes better, though the 75 isn’t that great. But he once again posted his story on Instagram.
We got better today!
“No penalties.”
