Main Event – Hue vs. Shchinsky
with Edwin Najimi After vacating the Polaris welterweight belt, Hue and Szczecinski will now fight for the right to call themselves “Champions” in Saturday’s main event. Hue, a beloved character among Polaris and wrestling fans, boasts an impeccable 4-0 record in ultrafights. He has also competed on behalf of Team UK & Ireland in the Polaris Squads, repeatedly putting together highlight performances. He fully demonstrated his tremendous flexibility and skills in the Middleweight Grand Prix, reaching the final and becoming the eventual champion. Roberto Jimenez to the max though up the weight class.
Likewise, Szczecinski showed his tenacity in the Middleweight Grand Prix, although he was unable to advance beyond the opening round. However, this brilliant Polish ligno specialist is famous throughout Europe for his skills, making it a tough outing for anyone. He received an invitation to compete in the 77kg category at the Abu Dhabi Cable Championships 2022 and responded by always presenting the talented William Tackett In the opening round, he attracted attention and made his presence felt.
The showdown between Hugh and Szczynski promises to be an exhilarating fight for the welterweight title. Fans can expect an intense display of skill as both competitors strive for the championship belt and etch their names into Polaris history.
Co-Main Event – Crelinsten vs. Orchard
Crelinsten vs. Orchard, as exciting as the contest would be, wasn’t actually the original lightweight bout scheduled for Polaris 24. Ashley Williams From Wales and UFC Featherweight Ryan Hall, who was originally scheduled to compete for the lightweight belt, were both forced out of the bout in early May. The spotlight is on Canada’s Krelenstein, who will go head-to-head with a seasoned Orchard veteran with Polaris Gold in hand.
Krillinsten’s career should be fueled by his narrow defeat by Ashley Williams in a previous Polaris title match. This time, he’ll be looking to avoid leaving the decision in the hands of the judges and hope to field it against the talented Tenth Planet legend. With two ADCC appearances under his belt, Crelinsten has earned a reputation for his exciting pace and style.
On the other side of the mat, Orchard brings his own set of credentials to the main event. He showed what he can do in Polaris Squads 3, contributing to Team USA’s big win with a submission Kieran Davern. While Crelinsten is known for pushing the pace, Orchard is known for his unorthodox and innovative approach to wrestling, posing quite a challenge for anyone who’s prepared to take on him, let alone a short-timer.
