PFL 5 payouts have been revealed in Atlanta with five separate fighters earning $100,000 in the highest payouts from the event.
The Georgia Sports and Recreation Commission released the payroll in an email to MMA Fighting on Sunday.
At the top of the list is 2022 Heavyweight Champion Ante DeLiga racking up $100,000 on the day for his victory over Maurice Greene in the main event. Unfortunately, because Delija missed the first fight of the season, he could not advance to the playoffs.
He will now have to sit on the sidelines as four heavyweights battle it out for the $1 million grand prize.
In the co-main event, Larissa Pacheco earned the same $100,000 paycheck after she viciously dispatched Amber Leibrock by the end of the first round. The victory landed Pacheco the top seed in the featherweight class, and she is looking to earn a second $1 million prize after taking the 2022 lightweight crown with an upset victory over two-time Olympic gold medalist Kayla Harrison.
Denis Goltsov also earned $100,000 for his quick win over UFC veteran Yorgan De Castro. The win helped Goltsov earn his ticket to the 2023 Pro Football League play-offs, where he was seeded as the top seed.
Former UFC fighter Aspen Ladd was paid $100,000 for her victory over Karolina Sobek. Ladd eventually went 1-1 during her first season with the PFL, but would not compete in the playoffs after failing to earn enough points to advance.
Former Bellator Featherweight Champion Julia Budd also earned $100,000 for her win over Martina Gindrova, but like Ladd, she failed to secure enough points to advance to the playoffs.
