Building the perfect defense in the NFL to stop Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs next season | Ovarian report
AFC – It would have been better to have a plan for Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid and the Kansas City forward.
the Buffalo bills, who recently extended Ed Oliver, signed Cameron Dantzler and added Leonard Floyd, may be planning an inevitable postseason showdown with the Chiefs. The rest of the leagues should follow suit. Of course, building a defense capable of containing the most consistent offense in recent memory is easier in theory than in practice.
What would such a defense look like? We decided to have some fun and dive into this very question. What follows is a legendary starting lineup that may not feature all of the best defenders in the league but will fit nicely into the Kansas City staff and scheme. Factors such as previous production, skill sets and positive aspects were considered here.
Justin Fields, Kadarius Toni, Nakobe Dean top 2023 early favorites | FOX Sports
Kadarius Toney, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
All eyes are squarely on Toney as the fourth-year pro attempts to finally climb to the No. 1 wide receiver role. Toney has teased the football world with his talents as an electric playmaker with explosive running skills, but chiefs believe he has the potential to fill the void created by Tyrek’s departure. cardamom. Although it’s hard to imagine anyone replacing Hill’s spot plays routinely, the opportunity to work as a base receiver for an offense featuring Patrick Mahomes and directed by Andy Reed could lead to absurd numbers for Tony.

About the NFL
Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill Says 2,000 Yards Is a Realistic Goal in 2023 | CBS Sports
Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill has joined the Miami Dolphins after seeking a better contract and more touches on offense. He definitely caught more touches in 2022, as Hill recorded 119 receptions for a career high 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns.
Hill ranks second in the NFL behind Justin Jefferson Player of the Year in both receptions and receiving yards, but he expects more in 2023. He believes 2,000 yards is a realistic goal.
“Oh yeah, sure,” Hill said, via Pro Football Network. “I think the added game gives me a huge advantage, so yeah.”
Hall of Famer Calvin Johnson still owns the NFL record for most receiving yards in a season with 1,964, which he achieved again in 2012. Recently we’ve seen other wide receivers approach the record, like Cooper Kupp of the Los Angeles Rams She recorded 145 catches for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns on her way to an A.J power in 2021.
Dalphin Cook’s Landing Spots: Broncos, Dolphins Among Best NFL Teams Fit | NFL.com
2022 record: 5-12
The Broncos would never have traded draft picks — something they didn’t lack after eliminating draft picks Russell Wilson and Sean Payton — for Cook, no matter how much they liked him. But now that he’s a free agent? Maybe that will change things.
Payton is a major selling point, even if playing Wilson doesn’t hold the same sheen as it once did. Payton’s success with their appearance in New Orleans personalities to help the Denver cause. Look what the former Saints coach has done over the years with Alvin Kamara, Mark Ingram, Darren Sproles, Deuce McAllister, Reggie Bosh, Pierre Thomas and Latavius Murray.
Denver recently broke up with a couple, and don’t forget, Broncos general manager George Paton was the Vikings’ assistant general manager when they drafted Cook. Javonte Williams remains in the starting line-up, and the team has signed Samaje Perine to play an important role this season, but Williams’ recovery from an ACL injury cannot be forgotten and Perine has always been a complement. That makes Cook seem like a possibility here.
Ravens give Lamar Jackson more freedom to hear – ESPN – Baltimore Ravens | ESPN
The Ravens called off the huddle and allowed quarterback Lamar Jackson to make the calls on the line of scrimmage.
Jackson ran for 119 yards and a touchdown and threw for 318 yards and three TDs in the 42-38 loss to the Dolphins, but that wasn’t a lasting impression. Ravens coach T. Martin recalls that Jackson was very comfortable having this increased freedom.
“I just saw the expression on his face when he walked off the field,” said Martin. “He was in a good place.”
Jackson will have the opportunity to return to that “good place” under new offensive coordinator Todd Monken.
In four seasons with offensive coordinator Greg Roman, Baltimore primarily hauled and ran the play it was called. Under Monken, Jackson can slide pass protection to one side if he sees a defender attacking or deflect a receiver if the cornerback is lined up a certain way.

Chiefs Hot Takes: Charles Omenihu is forgotten
The Chiefs didn’t have much time off in terms of movement at the tackle site.
The Chiefs get a “pass” on a terrible offseason performance as it relates to the OT.

word use terrible harsh.
Chiefs fans have been spoiled when it comes to offensive line play over the past couple of seasons, especially when it comes to the inside line — anchored by Joe Thune, Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith.
The questions are in processing situations, but the answers are not fully known. It appears that as of now, Donovan Smith will start at left tackle, and Joanne Taylor will pressure at right side.
Both men were former second-round picks, but Smith is four years older than Taylor. Smith’s final season at Tampa Bay is one he would like to forget. He was the most offensive lineman in the league. One can contribute to the annoying injuries you endure.
But the eight-year-old veteran appears to be back where he needs to be, both physically and mentally.

After reading this I totally understand Frank I’m not salty anymore… It’s fun to watch him play for the Donkeys but at the end of the day a man has to take care of his family. Best of luck shark ❤️ https://t.co/R44IkXKg4m
