The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced today that NBA Con, the first-of-its-kind event blending the interests of NBA players and fans in celebrating the best of hoop culture, will begin at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas July 7-9, 2023. NBA Con tickets are on sale now. on NBACon.com.
NBA Con will bring together the fashion, music, cuisine, art and technology that make the NBA a cultural phenomenon in a three-day event, spotlighted by the game’s brightest stars and biggest personalities. Appearances will include current NBA legends and stars such as six-time NBA Champion, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Mike Conley of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers, CJ McCollum of the New Orleans Pelicans, Atlanta Hawks Tri Young, 2023 NBA draft pick Victor Wimpanyama and Scott Henderson, among many other names to be announced.
NBA Con nominates the opening weekend of the NBA Summer League that kicks off 10 days of NBA action on Friday, July 7. The NBA Summer League will showcase the league’s best young players, many of whom are taking the floor for the first time in NBA uniforms. . The event features a nearly 400,000-square-foot footprint in Mandalay Bay that is twice the size of the NBA Crossover event held during NBA All-Star 2023 which welcomed over 50,000 fans.
