Daryl Morey, President of Basketball Operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, announced today that the team has signed Mo Bamba.
Bamba, a graduate of Westtown School in West Chester, Pennsylvania, joins Philadelphia after playing for both the Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers in 2022-23, averaging 6.6 points and 4.6 rebounds.
He also hit a combined 38.7% from three last season, marking a career high.
Over five NBA seasons, Bamba averaged 7.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots in 275 games between Orlando and Los Angeles.
Since entering the league, Bamba has become one of 15 players in the league with at least 2,000 points, 365 blocks and 100 steals, and has done so in the fewest minutes played.
