Liz Carmouche And Diana Bennett They are set to clash in tonight’s featured main event for the Bellator Women’s Flyweight Championship. The two previously met in September of 2020 with Carmouche defeating Bennett, who lost more than five pounds in weight, due to a rear choke in the third round.
Carmouche’s bout was Bellator’s first challenger after ten fights in the UFC. She has since won every fight in the promotion including winning the title Juliana Velasquez In April of 2022 and a rematch with Velasquez last December. Carmouche’s opponent, Bennett, needed a rebound after the defeat that saw her run with just two wins in ten fights that ranged from early 2016 to late 2020. Last year ended. Justin Kish.
Only Carmouche will be eligible for tonight’s tournament as Bennett lost a pound and a half at Thursday’s weigh-in. With Carmouche’s word, losing her corner would result in the 125-pound weight belt being vacated.
