Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Jake Paul’s end with boxing has never been a secret. From the start of his career, he’s had his sights set on Conor McGregor, one-half of the biggest MMA vs. boxing crossover in history. It still seems awfully unlikely, but then, was anyone expecting Paul Anderson to beat Silva in the ring?
He’s already booked to fight Nate Diaz, McGregor’s most famous rival. The Irish athlete expects Diaz to prevail in their August encounter, but if Paul wins, things start to line up for the eventual crossover. Perhaps that’s why former boxing champ, one-time Naked Fighter, and former McGregor sparring partner Paulie Malignaghi is analyzing the potential match!
From his analytical standpoint – which certainly has nothing to do with their multi-year bad blood – McGregor’s defense is not prepared to handle his opponent’s successive punches, as he lacks precision.
“I think Jake Paul will fire Connor.” Tell Malignaggi Petway (trans Daily Mail). “Connor is very sensitive to those loop shots, and Jake hits hard enough that he only needs to hit you with one or two of them. I think Connor has good sharp shots, but I don’t think Connor has the discipline to stay with those small sharp shots for a certain number of rounds. He will fall apart because he doesn’t have many hearts.
“Connor has no balls. If you take Connor a few rounds, he really does have this huge discomfort and errors that naturally create themselves. You don’t even have to create them anymore.”

If PFL or one had to absorb the Bellator roster, which would you prefer?
Rumors swirl of a bidding war between the PFL and ONE Championship for the purchase of Bellator. Nothing has been confirmed other than adding some meat to it especially after Dana White’s recent comments.

The forward press from a turtle pose is really key here! His pressure allowed him to adjust the fist and sink further into the choke while the opponent was trapped with a butt hit in his heels.
