Among them, the Buffalo Sabers are talking about contract extensions with important defensemen, and Max Domi is interested in a deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Meanwhile, there are rumors of a trade being discussed between the San Jose Sharks and Vancouver Canucks, while the Detroit Red Wings admit they are looking for more targets.

According to him, the feedback from Buffalo is very optimistic, with both Dahlin and Power expressing their desire to stay with the team for the long term. The organization is committed to working towards securing deals for these talented players.
News about Matt Murray and Max Domi
according to Chris Johnston from NorthStar BetsThe Toronto Maple Leafs have breached the salary cap cap and are actively looking for ways to get rid of Matt Murray and his $4.69 million salary. The team is actively exploring business opportunities to address this situation.
If the Maple Leafs had a player, potentially subject to salary arbitration Ilya Samsonov, that would open a second buy-in window. This additional window provides another avenue for the team to consider acquisition as a potential option to handle Murray’s contract.

while, Friedman says so Max Dumy has made it clear that he is looking forward to staying in Toronto. Dumy said “He wants this to be his home in the NHL for a long time. He wants to be a Leaf, he has the bloodlines to be a Leaf. He’ll do anything to stay a Leaf. He never wants to leave here.”
Red Wings want more goals
According to Helen St. James of the Detroit Free Press, Detroit Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman is happy with the signings he’s made this summer — forwards JT Comfer, Daniel Sprung, and Christian Fischer, defenders Justin Hall and Shane Justesper and goaltenders James Reimer. And Alex Lyon – but he wants more goals. He noted that it remains a concern for the team.
Saint James quotes him as saying:
“Collectively, I expect us to improve a little bit. We’re still probably not where we’d all like to be, so we’ll continue in the off-season here, what, if anything, if through some of the freer agents who are still exist, or even look at potential trades.”

No wonder rumors persist of the Red Wings being in Alex DeBrincat-related trade talks.
Sharks and Canucks Talking Myers Trading Labanc
According to a report before Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey nowThere were discussions regarding a potential trade between the San Jose Sharks and Vancouver Canucks involving defender Tyler Myers and winger Kevin LaBank. Frank Serravalle of Daily Vesuvius initially announced this trade scenario.
However, as of now, the deal has yet to materialize, leaving the Canucks frustrated. The Sharks are expected to prefer to wait until September 1st when Myers will receive a $5 million signing bonus. That would result in the Sharks only having to shell out $1 million of his remaining salary, while the $6 million cap would still count against their salary cap for the current season.
There is always the question of who is the most valuable player at the trade deadline. Perhaps one party sees its player as the easiest asset to transfer.
