The firing of former general manager Kyle Dubas last Friday has dominated news coverage of the Toronto Maple Leafs for the past four days, with all attention focused on their front office.
However, there may be another drama entirely currently going on in the Toronto Maple Leafs locker room as the drama begins in the front office. Although none of the Leafs players publicly criticized each other, it seems they were more inclined to do so after another post-season disappointment.
According to NHL insider Elliott Friedman, several Maple Leafs players were critical of their teammates during their season-ending exit interviews.

However, the fact that Friedman’s source appears to be a player in the exact same locker room makes this particular tidbit of information very convincing.
“What this player told me is that they think you have to keep an eye on what might happen over the next few weeks,” Friedman revealed. “Because he thinks some players have been really vocal about why it didn’t work.”
