Manuel Torres got his fifth consecutive knockout in the tournament UFC Vegas 75He landed a perfectly timed jab that instantly sent his opponent to the canvas.
Torres entered the bout with a great deal of hype, due to his tendency to finish in the first round. After banishing Frank Camacho in his promotional debut, Torres added another name to his hit list Saturday night by sending his opponent into La La Land with a masterfully placed elbow in the opening round. Less than two minutes into the match, Torres was putting pressure on his opponent, Nicolas Mota, when Mota feigned a short right. Seeing a perfect opportunity to strike back, Torres fired the left elbow that hit Motta directly into the button and instantly rendered him unconscious.
Torres followed his opponent to the floor and delivered two hard but unnecessary sledgehammer fists before referee Herb Dean stepped in and demanded a stoppage.
