It looks like KSI, the boxer turned YouTuber, might not be a boxer for Tommy Fury after all.
The Nightmare has been out of the ring since May, when he faced Joe Fournier. The match was expected to be the biggest test of his career so far, but the Briton successfully passed. KSI ended up scoring a knockout victory in the second round, after a head-to-head confrontation with Tommy Fury after the match.
The Athletic Commission later rescinded the score to a no contest, as KSI landed an illegal elbow in the end sequence. However, the YouTuber had no intention of facing Joe Fournier in a rematch, and once again stated that he wanted to face TNT. For his part, Tommy Fury was fresh off his decision to beat Jake Paul in February.
In recent weeks, both KSI and Tommy Fury have provided positive updates regarding the contest. For his part, the latter recently stated that he is looking forward to finishing the game soon. However, now YouTuber has slammed Tommy Fury in a recent YouTube video, accusing him of going back on their verbal agreements.
Furthermore, KSI added that Cruiserweight only has a few days to accept its offer. He added in the video that the boxer’s issue seems to be mainly related to the weight category.

KSI stated in a recent interview video. “Now you’re demanding that we fight at 185, or don’t fight at all. Like, what the f*ck is wrong with you? You’re supposed to be the fighter! ..constantly chatting bulls* left right and center. Tommy, you fight at light weight, ie 175 pounds.”
He continued, “But when it comes to fighting me, YouTuber, he must be 185 lbs by now? You’re the one who’s been boxing his whole life, you’re from the fighting family… Tommy, you have to realize who you’re talking to, you don’t need to Do it. You don’t need to fight, you choose to fight… You have until Monday, July 3, 6 p.m. to sign the contract or I’ll move on.”
