Domantas Sabonis is set to enter the final year of his 4-year, $74.9 million contract with the Kings. The Lithuanian striker is eligible to sign an extension with the team this summer.
Sacramento general manager Monty McNair was asked about Sabonis’ future and a possible extension.
“Obviously, Dumas is an All-Star this year. I think [he] Should be All-NBA along with De’Aaron [Fox]McNair said. “So we’ll find out soon. Duma is a big part of what we do and we’ll do everything we can to keep it here and build around it.”
Sabonis has averaged 19.1 points, 12.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 34.6 minutes per game this season.
