The Miami Heat has announced that it has signed shooting guard Josh Richardson.
Richardson, who was initially drafted by the Heat in the 2015 NBA draft, split last season between the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans, and appeared in 65 games (10 starts) and averaged 10.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.06 steals, and 23.5 minutes while shooting 43.1 percent from the field, 36.5 percent from three-point range and 85.2 percent from the foul line.
He scored five 20-point games, including a season-high 27 points on 8-of-13 from the field, 6-of-8 from three-point range, and 5-of-5 from a perfect streak at Indiana on Oct. 21.
He shot at least 50 percent from three-point range 23 times and recorded 17 multi-steal games, including five rushing games in Oklahoma City on February 13. for the double-double on October 26.
