As if playing in his 1,000th career game in the NHL/as a member of the Washington Capitals wasn’t enough, defenseman John Carlson accomplished another milestone Saturday night with a goal in the second period against the Boston Bruins.
Carlson, who entered the night with 148 career goals, added his 149th and eighth of the 2023-24 season on the power play at the 14:03 mark of the second period, assisted by Max Pacioretty and Dylan Strome.
