Per Boston.com:
On a Monday night, the noisy, excited TD Garden crowd was quickly calmed down.
Celtics star Jason Tatum collapsed to the parquet floor in agony just 34 seconds into Critical Game 7 against the Heat.
Tatum got to his feet and rolled his ankle on a touchdown while trying to get past Miami guard Gabe Vincent.
Although the All-NBA forward continues to play, the damage has already been done.
“I watched the video, and I watched it after the game that I fell on my ankle. It’s hard, because it kind of affected me the rest of the night,” Tatum said after Boston’s season-ending 103-84 loss to the Heat. “I swelled up and it was frustrating because I was kind of like coincidence to myself. It was hard to move. It was just frustrating, especially that [expletive] It happened in the first play.”
