Jake Paul hit back after his next boxing opponent, Nate Diaz, accused him of taking steroids.
Paul and Diaz are set to collide on Saturday, August 5 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
The bout is currently scheduled to go to eight rounds, but Nate Diaz recently called for four more rounds to make it over to twelve.
take toTwitterthe Stockton native shared the following:
“12 rounds. You’re on steroids, so let’s put this shit to work.”
Although Diaz made no reference to Paul in the tweet, the “problem child” apparently came across the post when he issued the following rebuttal Friday night.
Are you talking to me, Nathan? We didn’t forget that you tested positive for doping. You and your friend Connor are juicy heads.
Let’s do 15 rounds and see how well your lungs eat cannabis.
VADA will come to Stockton to slap you. https://t.co/Q1h0qmzW07

“Are you talking to Nathan? We haven’t forgotten that you tested positive for doping. You and your buddy Connor are juice heads. Let’s do 15 rounds and see how well your lungs eat away at cannabis. VADA will come to Stockton to slap you.” – Paul commented on Diaz’s tweet.
Although Jake Paul’s fight against Nate Diaz looked risky after the former UFC title challengers’ recent weekend in New Orleans, a spokesperson for Diaz revealed that the TUF 5 winner has been cleared of travel after being awarded the bond.
“Bond has been granted and released with full court permission for a travel resume that includes a return to Stockton today. We appreciate the way we have been treated by the New Orleans Police Department, Court and their staff.”
Since travel is no longer an issue, the highly anticipated boxing match is supposed to be next summer.
Diaz (21-13 MMA, 0-0 Boxing) most recently competed this past September at UFC 279, where he scored a win over Tony Ferguson.
As for Jake Paul (6-1 Boxing), “The Problem Child” will be looking to recover from his first career loss, after dropping a split decision to Tommy Fury in February.
