The UFC will need to find a new main event for its Fight Night card on June 3, 2023.
This is due to his middleweight having forced Jack Hermansson out of his fight with Brendan Allen, as a result of an undisclosed injury.
MMA mania He was the first to report the news of Hermansson’s withdrawal. It remains unclear if the promotion will keep Allen on the card and look for a replacement, or will try to keep the reservation intact for a later date.
The Las Vegas card was to be the first scheduled main event for Allen, a former LFA champion. However, “All In” ended up topping the show in its final fight, after a fight between Nikita Krylov and Ryan Spann was postponed with the event already underway.
Allen (21-5) has won four straight fights, with three bare back choke ends in this stretch. He has won Performance of the Night awards in his last two outings.
The UFC has options, as former women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate is set to compete against up-and-coming Mayra Bueno Silva at the event. Kay Kara-France, who recently competed for the provisional gold, is also expected to appear to take on Amir Elbazy.
