Often, after a grueling battle, we see two warriors talking about an encounter or training with rare instances actually occurring.
With the exception of former UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira and current champion Israel Adesanya. In fact, they bumped into each other by complete accident these days.

The two would be rematched again at UFC 287 in April as Adesanya regained his title by finishing Pereira via second-round KO in Miami.
Adesanya (24-2) awaits his next challenge with a few options available including a third fight against former champion Robert Whitaker, or a new match against Dricus du Plessis. Whitaker and du Plessis will fight at UFC 290 with the assumption that the winner will be the next champ.
Pereira (7-2) made the official transition to light heavyweight as he now faces former champ Jan Blachovic at UFC 291 in Utah as part of a PPV stacked card headlined by Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje fighting for the BMF belt in the main event.
Whether or not these two train and hang out together remains to be seen, but we’ll probably make a UFC-sponsored buddy cop movie out of it.
