UFC featherweight contender Bryce Mitchell has backed the promotion of condoning performance-enhancing drug use from former division champion, Conor McGregor – who claims Dublin fights and wins against Michael Chandler, all while using steroids.
McGregor, a former undisputed lightweight and featherweight champion under the UFC banner, is expected to make it octagon Returning later this year, with the aforementioned consideration, Chandler is in a welterweight relationship.
Featured against a one-time contender for the vacant lightweight title Ultimate Warrior 31 Earlier this year, Conor McGregor has been sidelined since he took on UFC 264 again in July 2021, fracturing his left tibia and fibula in the Doctor’s first-round TKO loss to joint opponent, Dustin Poirier.
Getting into a dispute with USADA recently, McGregor has claimed that all he needs to return to active competition is two negative drug test results, rather than a six-month stint in the Anti-Doping Agency testing pool, to boot.
However, with a potential comeback looming, Conor McGregor released a few cryptic tweets on his official Twitter — “we’re in the pool,” they wrote — as well as announcing the date of his fight with Chandler.

Despite USADA’s stance on the 34-year-old’s counterattack returning, and the criteria he must meet if he does not seek an exemption from the UFC, the aforementioned featherweight competitor, Mitchell claims that the promotion will likely allow him to compete while using steroids.
“I think (Conor) McGregor is on steroids and I don’t think they (UFC) are going to test this properly – I think he’s going to win [against Michael Chandler] On steroids,” said Bryce Mitchell James Lynch during a recent interview. “But if they try them out, I think it’s going to be a good fight. But if he’s on steroids — he definitely still is — I’m going, I’m rooting for the American.”
As for Mitchell, the Arkansas wrestler recently saw his planned UFC 288 return against Jonathan Pearce, however, the former is expected to remain on the same card against Russian challenger, Movsar Ivlov in a short notice, reworked clash.
