GLORY Kickboxing decided to have newly crowned Welterweight King Semeleer defend against former reigning champion Groenhart. Nabiyev and his team called for the match but Glory had other plans. He said, “My team requested it by email and made a few calls, but as you can see, Murthel was a favourite. In all fairness, you should have gone for me. I don’t want to say anything on Murthel’s account – he’s a good fighter. But I should have stood here.” I should have defended the Glory title this Saturday!”
Although Nabiyev disapproves of matchmaking, he believes he will be next in line to face the winner. he addedAnd “I don’t know when I will fight yet, but I suppose I will fight the winner of the battle between Similaire and Green Heart.” Nabiyev has already beat Groenehart, who hasn’t had a win since 2019.
