The 2023 Chevron Championship, the first major LPGA Championship of the year, kicks off this week in Texas. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the action, including the full Chevron Championship TV schedule, broadcast schedule, and full first-round tee times.
Chevron Preview
The event has always been the first women’s major on the calendar, but this year it’s going to look very different. That’s because for the first time in tournament history, the Chevron will be held at the Carlton Woods Club in The Woodlands, Texas, instead of its previous home at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California.
One of the players to watch out for this week is Lydia Ko, who recently returned to the No. 1 ranking and is hoping to win the event for the second time, after her first victory in 2016, when the tournament was known as the ANA Inspiration.
Defending champion Jennifer Copshaw will do everything she can to replicate that, as did last year’s runner-up, Jessica Korda, and her sister, Nelly, who is trying to get back to number one. , they will be faced with the difficult decision of keeping the Poppie’s Pond tradition alive.
The Golf Channel and NBC will provide television coverage of the Chevron Championship, and streaming coverage of all four rounds is also available at www.golf.com peacockNBCSports.com, Golfchannel.com, and the NBC Sports app.
