Brendon Todd leads the John Deere Classic with 18 holes remaining. The better news for him? He is the only PGA Tour winner to finish in the top five.
We’ll see if the experience pays off on Sunday, as Todd is looking for his fourth Tour win. After Saturday’s 66th at the TPC Deere Run in Silves, Illinois, Todd sat 16-under and one away from Alex Smalley, Denny McCarthy and Adam Schenck. Peter Quest is a 14-under and two back, a whopping eight under-13 golfers, just three off the lead.
One of those three linebackers is Cameron Young, the second-round finisher who doubled his last-ditch haul on Saturday.
