Nate Diaz made several headlines Friday night while attending the DAZN Misfits 006 boxing event in New Orleans. Stockton Samurai kicked off the night by throwing a water bottle at reality TV star Chase D’Amore inside the venue, in an all-out brawl once outside. Videos of the altercation circulated on social media, with one in particular getting the most attention. During the skirmish, Diaz was caught on camera choking Logan Paul’s character known as Rodney Petersen.
On Monday, the New Orleans Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Nate Diaz. Police spokeswoman Karen Baudry confirmed this ESPN That the former UFC star has been charged with second-degree battery for his role in the Bourbon Street brawl.

“They come after your money. They come after your paper. They come after your hard-earned money,” Bisping said. “Listen, Nate Diaz has had a phenomenal career and made a lot of money. Those two fights with Conor McGregor, they would have been huge paychecks and of course, facing Jake Paul, this has all the makings of another fight for sure with the 50/50 split that he has now because he’s obviously involved in promoting this fight, but the fun and hype before the fight never ends At that because let’s be honest, that’s the pre-fight hype.
Bisping believes Diaz’s string of attention-grabbing activities lately is nothing more than an attempt to get attention in his Aug. 5 confrontation with social media star Jake Paul.
“Nate Diaz is the talk of the town again,” Bisping continued. “Well, it’s given for the wrong reasons, but when you’re a fighter, is it really the wrong reason? As a human being, as a human being. As someone is trying to get through life, you want to deal with as little drama and problems… disagreement as possible, but I guess you If I were a fighting star, it would be a bit different. I definitely felt this transformation as well when I was a fighter.”
Michael Bisping doesn’t want to see Nate Diaz continue to put himself in dangerous situations
Continuing to address the incident involving Nate Diaz, Michael Bisping donned his parenting hat, warning the Ultimate Fighter graduate about the dangers of jumping into a street fight in today’s gun-toting society.
“He’s about 40. You have to be careful because one day he could catch up with you. Remember a lot of people carry guns these days. He could have been stabbed. The guy could have broken his head when he got down. Good luck.” Luckily, nothing like that happened and he wouldn’t even sue him. That would be the first thing I would worry about.”
Despite the negative attention and arrest warrant to boot, “The Count” believes there’s no such thing as bad press, especially in a fighting game where millions of dollars await the man ready to stir up the most controversy. However, it might be time for Nate Diaz to start acting his age before he gets involved with the wrong person.
“There’s no such thing as bad press. Nate Diaz is the talk of the town, but at his age, I think he should now stop doing that. I mean, wherever he goes there are fights. Again, I’m not talking sh*t. He’s a darkly charismatic character.” He’s got a ridiculously rabid fan following and rightfully so. The guy is a real fighter. Incredible at what he brings to the table. I’m so intrigued by this fight with Jake Paul.”
