The Lakers began making roster moves by relinquishing Mo Bamba and Shaquille Harrison and declining a player option on Malik Beasley.
With free agency opening later tonight, Los Angeles is expected to go after several players. Among them are longtime Lakers target Cam Reddish and Yuta Watanabe, in Jovan Buha.
Reddish is a restricted free agent after completing the season with the Trail Blazers following a trade from the Knicks. He averaged 11 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 27.6 minutes over 20 games for Portland.
Watanabe became an unrestricted free agent after his contract with the Nets expired. Last season, the Japanese junior forward averaged 5.6 points, 2.4 rebounds in 16 minutes per game for Brooklyn.
