GLORY Kickboxing is back in action on Saturday, April 29, with a heavyweight championship and welterweight title fight in tow at GLORY 85.
Coming down to the Rotterdam Ahoy circuit in the Netherlands, GLORY 85 saw welterweight champion Indy Simeleer put his title on the line against Mortel Gronhart, himself a former welterweight champion in the promotion, and a longtime veteran of Team GLORY. Groenhart made his debut for the company in 2012 at GLORY 2, and is a two-time contender championship winner at welterweight (2015 and 2016) who has spent the past several years in the title picture.
In addition to his GLORY championship, Semeleer was the first Enfusion Middleweight Champion, and was going on a successful defense of his GLORY title against Alim Nabiev.
GLORY 85 takes place on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Rotterdam Ahoy Arena broadcasting LIVE GLORYFights.com. Full results for the event can be found below, with the preliminary card beginning at 1 p.m. ET.
