Earlier this week, Milwaukee introduced Adrain Griffin as the historic franchise’s new head coach. After a disappointing finish to the postseason, the Bucks will be looking to bounce back in 2023-24. Before the upcoming season, Giannis Antetokounmpo invited a certain colleague to work with him in Greece.
His lucky teammate who is currently in Greece with two-time MVP is MarJon Beauchamp. After his rookie season last year with Milwaukee, Antetokounmpo became a soft spot for Beauchamp and took him under his wing. He told reporters he was really excited to be heading to Greece with Giannis but had no idea what to expect.
BeauMilchamp will be entering his second season in the NBA next year and has a chance to learn from one of the league’s best players. The 22-year-old will enjoy all the lessons Giannis teaches. Not every young player is fortunate enough to have a superstar they want to be their mentor.

With players heading to free agency this offseason, there’s a chance Beauchamp could see a bigger role with Milwaukee next year, which is why Giannis is taking the time to help develop the young SF. Any time Beauchamp spends with Antetokounmpo will be invaluable to his development as a player.
Speaking of Beauchamp, Giannis had nothing but positive things to say.
“I really believe in him. I believe in what he’s about today and I believe in what he’s going to be like in four, five, seven, ten years from now,” — Giannis Antetokounmo
Last season. Beauchamp’s season-high for points was 20. He also grabbed a career-high eight rebounds in the same game and Giannis loves the potential he sees.
