Jordan Spieth hasn’t won a major in six years, but if his play on Thursday at Royal Liverpool is any indication, Spieth is looking forward to this Open Championship to end his drought.
The American star, who won the Open Championship in 2017, is out by shooting in the opening round, shooting two under 69s that would have been better had it not been for a closing bogey at 18.
In the second round on Friday, Spieth will be out at 9:04 a.m. ET and play again alongside Matt Fitzpatrick and Jason Day.
