Incredibly, it’s now been a week since Kyle Dubas’ public firing from the Toronto Maple Leafs.
It seems like a lot has happened in seven short days.
It started Friday’s edition of Leafs Morning Take By discussing a timeline for Toronto’s decision on GM. It feels like they’re taking things slowly, but whichever way you slice it, I would say time is of the essence. For the record, Brad Triliving is still the only name out there. Do whatever you like.
Then, Jay Rosehill emerged for another Division 3 Hits. He touched on John Scott’s comments from Thursday, and he also doubled down on his Ray Shero campaign for GM. For our regular listeners/watchers, Rosie has been consistent with that since day one.
Meanwhile, Hockey Insider and Hockey’s head of content for the Daily Faceoff, Frank Serravalle, has stopped. We’ve discussed Kyle Dubas, the Leafs’ GM research, and whether Brad Treliving’s job is to lose at this point.
