The NHL is working hard to expand the NHL World Series in order to continue developing the game internationally. The NHL has had a regular cruise since 2018, barring COVID seasons, and the trend will continue in 2023/24. While the annual trip to Europe has always been on the agenda, the league is also making its first trip to Australia as part of the World Series.
The NHL sent the Nashville Predators, San Jose Sharks, Colorado Avalanche, and Columbus Blue Jackets to Europe last season, and it was a huge success. The NHL confirmed today which clubs will be going to Europe next season.

The league will try to sell some of its best European stars, including William Nylander, Tim Stötzl, Kirill Kabrisov and Mortis Seider. This must be a great experience because the atmosphere in Europe is always top notch for these types of games.
