Former UFC fighter Karl Roberson has been charged in connection with a robbery in New Jersey where police say more than $200,000 in jewelry and valuables were stolen, according to a press release from the Howell Township Police Department.

Roberson was arrested during a traffic stop in Neptune, NJ after his car was identified during an investigation in connection with the theft. A search of the vehicle revealed a mutilated 9mm handgun and extended magazine, several packages of “crack cocaine,” marijuana and burglary-related items.
Roberson has been taken into custody and charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and multiple weapons offences.
The 32-year-old Roberson, nicknamed “Baby K,” currently holds a professional MMA record of 9-6.
After defeating Ryan Spann at the Dana White Match Series in 2017, Roberson has fought 10 times for the UFC. He would go 4-6 in the promotion before being released in 2022.
