Former UFC heavyweight champion Alexei Oleinik has been knocked out cold in his first fight since being released from the promotion.
Known as “The Boa Constrictor,” the 45-year-old Russian was defeated by fellow former UFC fighter Oli Thompson in a match under the REN TV Fight Club banner at Dynamo Volleyball Arena in Moscow.
Oleynik, known for turning away his victims due to Ezekiel’s strangulation, took a heavy blow from Thompson’s right hand and instantly hit the canvas.

With the loss, Oleinik moves to an incredible 60-18-1. In his last fight in the UFC in October 2022, he dropped the decision to Ilir Latifi. Oleinik joined the UFC in 2014 and has fought 17 fights with the promotion.
Thompson moves to 22-16. He has only had two fights with the UFC, both of which he lost in 2012.
