FootJoy has renewed its partnership with Harris Tweed Hebrides to offer a limited edition collection of footwear that celebrates craftsmanship, heritage and tradition.
Following the launch of the Black Watch Packard in 2021, and the Shawbost Collection last year, the partnership introduced two new models ahead of this year’s Open, the FJ x Harris Tweed Premiere Series Hoylake shoes.
What sets these shoes apart is the Hoylake Green canvas insert that has been added to Wilcox and Field models to complement the timeless design and innovative performance technology.
Crafted exclusively in the Outer Hebrides using traditional methods, our pure virgin wool is handcrafted to create unique, flawless and beautiful designs that have a tweed feel and signature design. This particular canvas was hand-selected to recognize the two brands’ intrinsic role in the game’s history and a shared celebration of heritage. Each pair comes with a shoe bag made of the same fabric as the shoes.
Premier Series Harris Tweed Hoylake Wilcox (£239)
Exuding a timeless charm, it now features a captivating touch with the inclusion of the iconic Harris Tweed fabric, which gracefully adorns the saddle. Accentuated with a bronze FJ logo, these shoes represent the perfect blend of heritage and modernity. Made with supple and luxurious uppers, it’s enhanced with a complementing navy heel and a stylish stripe strap.
Premier Series Harris Tweed Hoylake Field (£229)
The heel of each shoe is accented with the legendary Harris Tweed. The distinct striped ring delicately enhances the visual appeal, perfectly complementing the iconic texture. It’s an elegant accent that captures the shoe’s attention to detail. It’s not just about aesthetics, but both the Hoylake Field as well as the Wilcox shoe are built for performance, with the multicolored VersaTrax+ outsole, designed for optimal traction and stability.
The shoes will be presented to FootJoy brand ambassadors such as Justin Thomas, Max Homma, US Open champion Wyndham Clark and Billy Horschel ahead of the 151st Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.
Both models will be available online www.footjoy.co.uk and select retailers as of August 3.
