The distinguished assembly of the first round
Although he has become a household name recently, Cameron Young has never won a PGA Tour event. The 26-year-old rising star finished second last season five times, and each time he came close to winning.
Things haven’t been going so well for Young in 2023, though, as he did get another runner-up in the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play in March, one of the top 10 matches of the season.
Now Young is running in the John Deere Classic, hoping to finally enter the PGA Tour winner’s circle.
The guys go off for the first round at 2:05pm ET alongside Nick Hardy and Ludwig Aberg. You can stream the first round Thursday via The PGA Tour live on ESPN+ Starting at 7:45 a.m. ET or watch the action on The Golf Channel starting at 4 p.m. ET.
