It’s a tough scene out there, kids. Traditionally, the fairways of Augusta have been the equivalent of golf fashion shows as brands unveil their latest and greatest for the golf season. However, the style scene on the first day of this year’s Masters seemed to stumble across the dressing room. There was a healthy dose of “meh” with a splash of “WTF”. However, we pulled some #content together on a day when there were more nickels and pennies than dimes. Here we hope for more inspiring looks from day two. Let’s go!

Keith Mitchell (Sid Mashburn & FootJoy)
There is no better player to start our Dimes than a guy who always shows up and shows. Keith Mitchell has been the best dressed for the first few months of 2023, once again taking the top spot at Round 1 in Augusta. While pink prints were in full bloom, Keith took a more grassy approach in a sage pant with a poppy waistband. Mitchell has created a unique style over the past few years, but he’s taken it to another level with his extra-long pullover in his basic white polo shirt.
Justin Thomas (Greyson Clothiers & FootJoy)
One of the iconic Greyson prints (and there are many) is Den of Thieves. The intricate print offers a bit of an optical illusion. First look shows a simple paisley print, but closer inspection reveals a coyote hidden in the details. For the opening round, Grayson put a fresh spin on this build for the JT with the Limited Edition Den of Magnolias Polo. The floral pattern offers an homage to the Augusta azaleas, and the green fringe complements the Masters-inspired polo.
Dustin Johnson (extracurricular, FootJoy & Hublot)
In the words of Jay-Z, “I think I’ve got my swagger back, the truth/new watch alert, Hublots.” DJ had plenty of swagger on display as he quickly slipped on his Hublot Big Bang Unico Golf Green Carbon watch, which is checking in at $31,000. This wasn’t even the most interesting part of his fitness. Lots of questions about Dustin Polo. It’s an extracurricular, the newest sportswear brand founded by Chris Rosasen. If the name sounds familiar, the former professional cyclist also launched Rosasen and another golf/lifestyle brand called TravisMathew. You may have heard of him.
The DJ has also taken to FootJoy and appears to have woven a custom pair of kicks on the MyJoys site using Premiere Series white and green packs.
Max Homma (Footjoy)
Speaking of sick FJs, the Brockton, MA brand just dropped their latest Limited Edition with Pastel Pack. Premiere Series Field creates a super crisp backdrop for splashes of spring color with its outsole and light chalk accents. Homa went all in on the pastel theme by pairing a Primrose Pink colorway with Light Blue Tour Pants.
Mike Ware (Boss & Painter)
I’ve been having a bit of a fuss about prints and patterns and prefer solids lately. Maybe that’s why Mike Weir’s fitness caught my eye. It’s elegant in its simplicity and the pale pink hits all the right notes. The key to taking a basic look like this to another level is the dial in the stitching and Weir nailed the details perfectly.
Alex Noreen (Macade Golf & FootJoy)
Another rising brand that should be on your radar is Macade. Her apparel is tailored to the modern, sporty era of golf. This soft mint color and tonal print is a breath of fresh air for spring. If you didn’t know, now you know.
Joaquin Nyman (Adidas Golf)
Jaco might be the LIV guy I miss the most on the PGA Tour. I’ve always loved how he takes a very modern take on his style on the course and is able to mix in trendy, streetwear-inspired pieces. This coral color paint splatter print polo has just the right amount of pop.
Harrison Crowe (Footjoy)
The best dressed buffs go to Harrison Crew. vibrations.
Tony Finau (Nike)
Nickel clothes. Kicks and cover dime.

Victor Hofland
You won’t find a bigger JL in the last 20 years than me, but I can’t get enough of this shirt. If the floral print wasn’t crazy enough, the addition of the JL bridge logo across the back makes it even busier. This flower needs pruning. Unfortunately, we’ll likely see a different path for this color before the end of the week. We’ll get you a place in the crime department, Victor. Let’s bring back some of those classic looks from JL, like this one.
Brooks Koepka
Trait. You’d at least think the shoes and shirt would match or complement each other.
Jason Cockrak
Christmas went bad…in April.
Patrick Cantlay
Zzzzz. Since becoming a free agent, Cantlay has adopted the “dull and shapeless” style as his signature style. He’s crying out for a clothing sponsor and designer. Patrick, call me.
