Brian Dumoulin She signed a two-year, $6.3 million contract with the Seattle Kraken on Saturday. Their average annual value is $3.15 million.
The 31-year-old defenseman had 25 NHL points (1 goal, 24 assists) in 82 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins last season.
“Brian is a two-time Stanley Cup champion and coming off his most productive offensive season,” said Ron Francis, general manager of the Kraken. “He has been a consistent and reliable defenseman throughout his career. We are thrilled to welcome him to Seattle.”

Dumoulin was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the second round (#51) of the 2009 NHL Draft, has 139 points (19 goals, 120 assists) in 546 regular season games with the Penguins and 25 points (four goals, 21 assists) In 81 Stanley Cup playoff appearances.
Dumoulin won the Stanley Cup with the Penguins in 2016 and 2017.
