After being waived by the San Antonio Spurs in the fallout from the Dejounte Murray deal, Gallinari signed a two-year, $13.3 million deal with the Boston Celtics on July 12, 2022.
However, Gallinari never set foot on the field with the Celtics due to a torn ACL he suffered while playing for Italy in a FIBA qualifying match last August.
Gallinari has almost recovered from the injury and is supposed to make his Celtics debut this coming season.
