UFC President Dana White has revealed his thoughts on Conor McGregor’s viral confrontation with BKFC brawler Mike Perry.
The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship was a huge success last Saturday night, providing a very entertaining event packed with some very big names, including multi-time world champions Eddie Alvarez and Luke Rockhold. However, it was a surprise guest who attracted most of the attention. Conor McGregor could make his way to the 1stBank center in the final three rounds of the evening, sending fans at “Mile High City” into a frenzy.
Conor McGregor was beaming at all the action with his No. 12 bottle at his side, as he watched his former team-mates sizzle inside the squared circle. After a second-round TKO of Mike Berry in the headliner of the evening, “Platinum” invited McGregor to enter the ring with him. The Irishman had to enter the structure with the BKFC Championship title belt draped over his shoulder.
The confrontation came to light immediately with fans speculating about a possible crossover bout between the two heavy hitters.

“I think Connor came out and was having a good time and got stuck in the moment,” White said. “the [Mike Perry] He invited him to the ring and he did. I also saw him hit a bottle of No. 12. I’m sure that might have had something to do with it too, but listen up man. At the end of the day, Connor has done a lot here. He earned a lot of money. The man outside is having fun and all is well.”

Dana White also touched on Conor McGregor’s upcoming return to the… octagon. Fans will see “The Notorious” compete against “Iron” Michael Chandler in the upcoming season of the long-running reality series, The Ultimate Fighter. Set to begin airing May 29, McGregor is expected to duel with Chandler once the season is in the bag, but with McGregor still out of the USADA testing pool, fans are growing skeptical.
“I actually saw Connor’s picture today where he actually looked a lot leaner, like he’s starting to cut weight and we’ll see,” White said. “I mean, this guy is going through a lot of trouble with his body after breaking his tibia. Trust me, as soon as we can get it done, we’ll get it done.”
Conor McGregor’s last appearance inside the octagon came at UFC 264 in July 2021. The infamous broke his leg in the first round of a three-way match with divisional rival Dustin Poirier, which resulted in a TKO loss. McGregor’s most recent win came against UFC Hall of Fame inductee Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in 2020. Prior to that, his most recent victory was winning the UFC lightweight title against then-champion Eddie Alvarez.
