Tony Pollard took the credit last season, but he’ll try to climb the charts next season.

Many punters high ceilinged Pollard after Dallas finally embraced him as the standout, converting 190 for 1,007 yards and nine touchdowns. with Ezekiel Elliot Now Pollard is gone, he should pass the 200 mark in 2023.
“I call him the lemonade player—he turns lemons into lemonade, makes something out of nothing,” said one veteran NFL coach. “It doesn’t have to be perfect for him to make plays.”
An AFC member added, “Pace, man. He exploded in a big way.”
cowboy mode mark of excellence on Pollard, who is set to earn $10.1 million this year.
Another veteran NFL coach said, “I love the player, but I need to see him do it one more year before I put him in the top 10.” “Need to see more.”
Duck better than Galen Hurts? Prescott is “the best of both worlds!” Ex Cowboys WR – Harrison Reno, Cowboys Country
Former Cowboys wide receiver Teran Williams gave the credit to Dak Prescott.
“Galen is amazing. But to me, Duck and him are different. Terrence Williams said recently during an interview with Sports Law Nation on YouTube. Jalen Hurts is more than a runner. He’s just built that way. Duck has the luxury of “some games where you feel like running 50 yards, or do you want to throw close to 400 yards.” Jalen likes bottles like the 100-yard dash and 200 yard passing…. Duck is the best of both worlds.”
“The best of both worlds” is a unique way of putting it. But is it accurate to paint Prescott as a runner? No, the Cowboys quarterback hasn’t broken the 100-yard rushing standard in a single game in seven seasons so far, but he’s shown when he’s forced to run, or asked to do so, that he can.
This lack of a 100-yard rushing game contrasts with Hurts, who did it twice in his NFL career. It might be less than many expected, considering he’s rushed for over 700 yards in back-to-back seasons.
Hurts has the edge on the ground, but Prescott takes the crown through the air. The Cowboys quarterback has 4,000 yard passing seasons so far, and if 2023 is going as expectedhe can even break into the 5,000-yard club.
3 Potential Cowboys Trade Candidates Entering 2023 Training Camp – Joe Fragano, ClutchPoints
If the Cowboys wanted to take it one step further, A.J powerCommerce can do that.
Project Dallas 2023 It was a huge step in the right direction when it comes to fixing the run-stopping defense issues from last year.
Mazie Smith and DeMarvion Overhown would be shots in the arm for the Cowboys defenseman, but they’re still only rookies. If Dallas really wants to make their defense the elite in football, an athletic general like Devin White would be a huge help.
Donovan Smith, OT
He is 30 years old Signed with Kansas City Chiefs In free agency, Donovan Smith is a player the Cowboys may find themselves targeted out of necessity before long.
Tyron Smith seems to be spending less time on the field each season. After flipping to right tackle a year ago, it looked like the Cowboys were looking for any possibility just to get him on the field. When available, Smith is one of the game’s best players, but he can’t be counted on anymore. Add to that equation Terence Steele’s recent knee injury and the Cowboys could find themselves in a heap of trouble dealing with if he doesn’t recover well.
Role Calling: Last Stop on Redwine’s Long Journey – Dallascowboys.com Staff
Dallas could always use a few defensive tackles to develop it.
How did he get here: Since he was selected in the fourth round of 2019 NFL Draft by Cleveland Browns, Miami producer Sheldrick Redwine has been a bit of a busser all over the league on various coaching teams in a short amount of time. After being cut by the Browns prior to the 2021 season, Redwine has had stints with the Jets, dolphinsand the Panthers and Colts before being signed by the Cowboys in January to a reserve/future contract. After playing just 34 defensive snaps in 2021, Redwine was not roster-rostered through the 2022 season.
What then: Being part of a loaded minor league as an NFL player is a tough job, but Redwine will have his shot to make an impact at corner, nickel and safety during training camp. In addition, the special teams points remain open as Redwine’s speed of 4.44 combined with his ability to tackle in the open field could help him land one of those positions. Redwine will need to see a pretty big improvement in order to sneak in and carve out a roster spot, but the opportunity will be on the four-year veteran.
