How the Cowboys’ DeMarcus Ware earned NFL Hall of Fame legend status – Todd Archer, ESPN
The scariest moment in DeMarcus Ware’s career.
He could make it up to those six minutes over six days in 2009, when he secured his legend as one of the all-time greats, going from motionless on the field after suffering a neck injury vs. chargers To make a game winner ribbon bag New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees to help push the Cowboys into the playoffs.
“I was having an out-of-body experience,” Ware said. “I was floating when I was on that land, when she got hit in San Diego. It was like, ‘I’m here, but I’m not quite here.'”
There were 11 35 seconds left in the fourth quarter against the Chargers at brand new Cowboys Stadium on December 13, 2009. The score was tied at 10. Philip Rivers The Dallas defense cleared the Cowboys 48. He never looked left. He knew that No. 94 was there. He knew Weir would come after him.
When Ware gained the edge on left tackle Marcus McNeil, about 2 yards from Rivers, the quarterback stepped into the pocket. Ware reached it but came up short and his momentum carried him into the left thigh of Chargers right-hander Brandine Dombrowski.
Weir’s head was tucked when he hit Dombrowski, and he quickly hit the ground.
His arms are bent, his legs too.
He lost feeling in his limbs.
15) What is the photo of the backup RB behind Pollard? – DallasCowboys.com
The Cowboys let Ezekiel Elliott go, so there is some uncertainty behind Tony Pollard.
Patrick Walker: Blurry, but not from a lack of talent. Instead, the picture is blurred because there are so many different types of talent. Ronald Jones was brought in as the ultimate shortstop man, but Deuce Vaughn has some of that ability as well, along with transformation and versatility in hitting home runs. Malik Davis has shown he deserves a shot as a good fullback but Rico Dowdle had Davis’ number before injury in 2022, and he’s back for longer this summer. Then there’s Hunter Luepke, who can do WR duty, too. Now, it’s free for everyone.
Kyle Yeomans: tIt might be the most underrated question of all. With Pollard out with an ankle injury in January, having a second player capable of running back will be crucial. The early idea is that Malik Davis will be the favorite to take the most picks in training camp to start, mostly because he looked so capable over the stretch last season. However, he does have some competition with the return of Rico Doodle and the addition of Ronald Jones and Deuce Vaughn. As a tryout selection, Vaughn will get a great starting camp load and opportunities to show off his skill set. Dowdle and Jones will both face an uphill battle to make the roster and will need to hit the ground running early to have a chance.

Mailbag: Is Micah Parsons the Cowboys’ best player? – DallasCowboys.com
All hail the lion!
Happy Fourth of July! I saw a poll recently that said Micah Parsons is the Cowboys’ most valuable player this season. do you agree? He’s probably the best player, but is he the most valuable player when it comes to this team’s success? – Adrienne Foster/Texarkana, Texas
Nick Eatman: Yes, without question. If it’s not the person in the background image at the top of the screen. Diggs plays a pretty major role on this team, but Micah Parsons has the biggest influence. And if you think he’s someone on the other side of the ball, just look back at last season. When the Duck went down, the Cowboys were 4-1 and the reason they won those games was because Number 11 did as well as anyone in the NFL. Parsons took over those games and allowed Cooper Rush and the crime to survive. Usually, the quarterback is the best player due to the lack of continuity. But I think that’s how good Micah Parsons is, he’s the most valuable on the team.
Curt Daniels: This poll you’re referring to was taken by The Athletic, and in a fan vote Parsons was the clear favorite with Dak Prescott a distant second. It’s a fun exercise, but I tend to agree with you. While the all-around linebacker is probably the best player on the field at any given moment, as is the case with every team in the NFL, the quarterback really is the difference between a consistent win and a loss and there is certainly no exception to this rule here in Dallas. Yes, the Cooper Rush made an impressive run last season in Prescott’s absence, but if the Cowboys are going to hit their targets in 2023, they’ll need the QB1 to be firing on all cylinders. Without him, it would be hard to get a championship no matter how elite parsons and defense were. Again, Prescott may not be the best, but it sure looks like the most valuable. As it progresses, also go cowboy.
