UFC star Conor McGregor is featured in a new series documenting his recovery from his terrible break, which premieres on Netflix next month.
McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) broke his lower left fibula and fibula in a first-round TKO loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. An enraged McGregor thrust threats at Poirier before he was stretched out to have emergency surgery.
Nearly two years later, fans will relive McGregor’s injury and the moments after it in the “McGregor Forever” documentary series, coming May 17 on Netflix. In it, McGregor speaks from his hospital bed and admits that his adrenaline has been running high, and that he fears his career is over.

“Did you hear here first. My new documentary series, McGregor Forever, is coming to Netflix May 17th! The only place to hear my real story, which is just beginning!”
McGregor has not competed since an injury stoppage loss to Poirier. He recently finished filming and training for “The Ultimate Fighter 31” opposite Michael Chandler, who is expected to fight later this year.
McGregor, 34, has never again entered the US Anti-Doping Agency’s testing pool. A mandatory six-month probationary period is required before being eligible to compete.
