After a 12-day search, the search for a new General Motors vehicle in Toronto is finally over.
Earlier today, the Maple Leafs unveiled Brad Triliving as 18y General Manager in franchise history.
It’s time to get to work! I think Treliving is on a private jet to Arizona as I post this.
We started tToday’s edition of Leafs Morning Take By discussing the rental of Kyle Dubas in Pittsburgh. Coincidentally, Pens made the announcement just 30 minutes before the Leafs officially revealed Brad Treliving to the media. Go and deduce! Hmm.
As for the new Leafs GM, there’s a lot to go. The next six weeks are going to be absolutely amazing, that’s for sure.
In the meantime, we were fortunate enough to be joined by a man who was no stranger to Brad Treleving, or to running a hockey club for that matter. Former Leafs GM/current NHL network analyst Brian Burke stopped by to share his thoughts on the recruiting. Burkie was Rosie’s general manager in Toronto. It was a wonderful reunion.
Finally, for Betano Rap UpWe were given Stanley Cup picks. We both love Florida.
There is no show tomorrow. We’ll be back Monday at 11 a.m. ET. Then speak up!
