Although Kristaps Porzingis’ original trade collapsed, the Celts found another trade to get the Latvian forward they desired.
As reported by The Athletic, Boston acquired Porzingis in a three-team deal that also saw Marcus Smart move to the Grizzlies and Tyus Jones join the Wizards.
In addition to Porzingis, Boston also received first-round picks in 2023 and 2024. Washington also received Danilo Gallinari, Mike Muscala, and 2023 second-round picks.
