As you read draft lead ratings, you are sure to notice that they vary widely. It’s hard to know which one to believe. So we made it possible for you to see how a consensus From analysts’ views this year NFL Draft horizons.
We started with the top 200 rankings from five sources – ESPNAnd Focus on professional footballAnd CBS SportsAnd Pro Football Network And your drive – Then average them. The top 100 results are shown here.
On Friday and Saturday, we will be publishing a new Top 100 list that only shows players who are still available. So as you watch the draft unfold for the Kansas City Chiefs, keep an eye on these rankings.
Below the table, you’ll find some fun facts about the combined ratings.
The first column shows each player’s current ranking, followed by the ranking arrangement before NFL. The second column shows their location – and their order within it. Then the third column contains the name of the player, the school, and how far they rank in the five lists.

A total of 279 players were included in the five lead rankings we used. As you’d expect, there was a lot of variance between them – in fact, the five ratings didn’t even agree on who was the best player overall. Three named Alabama Edge Will Anderson Jr., while the other two went with Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young.
This year, all but two of the top 100 players are on all five lists. A total of 132 players appeared across all five rankings. 34 players have made four of the lists, 28 are listed in three, 35 have appeared in two and 50 have appeared in only one. (For the purposes of our average rankings, players who were not in the top 200 were counted as if they were 201st on that list.)
